Third Party Balance Report available only for transactions created after the qualifier's change

The Third Party Balance Report ignores historic balances generated before the account qualifier's update.

 

Problem Description

I tested the Third Party Balance Report:

1. Updated the Flex Qualifier – set the Third Party Control Account for identified accounts payable.

2.  Ran the “Program – Inherit Segment Value Attributes”.  It updated code combinations.

3.  Created and accounted some new invoices.

4. Ran the Third Party Balance Report and saw only new invoices.

 

According to the Note 833410.1

1) Bug 7456665 was raised with Development for the codefix on this issue.

2) No datafix can be provided to calculate the balances for the transactions which occurred before the control accounts were enabled.
