Local SMB Groups not working
Hello,
I'm running the latest Solaris 11 11/11 release. My SMB setup is configured in Domain mode - and currently correctly serves SMB shares to different users via the smbautohome share.
I'm attempting to use the Local SMB Group functionality, as described here:
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23824_01/html/821-1449/localsmbgroupsusers.html
I've tried adding my Domain user to the "Backup Operators" Local SMB Group - and this is displayed correctly:
smbadm show-groups -mp
administrators (Members can fully administer the computer/domain)
SID: S-1-5-32-544
Privileges:
SeTakeOwnershipPrivilege: On
SeBackupPrivilege: Off
SeRestorePrivilege: Off
No members
backup operators (Members can bypass file security to back up files)
