Members not deployed to Planning when using batch deploy

I am finding that new members are not being deployed to my Planning cubes when the deploy is run as a batch script but that they are deployed when the deploy is run manually.

The scripted deploy runs an Execute Redeploy and the deploy option is 'AppView'.

When deploying manually I am running a refresh.

Does anyone have any idea as to why the end result is different?
