AP invoice getting created by Receivables module!

Under which circumstances, does an invoice get created in payables by   receivables module?

we are not running any netting process, but we see some invoices getting created occassionally in payables module. The souce of the AP invoice is says as 'Recievables'.

Any advise would be helpful.
