Asset Numbering

Hi,

I have a requirement from the users to be able to number their assets with a alphanumeric prefix, such as "AA" to the automatically generated asset number.  This asset book is not yet implemented and there are other asset books already using the automatic asset numbering.  Since most of the assets coming in will be from AP mass additions, how can the asset numbering be set AUTOMATICALLY so that the all asset numbers in mass additions (or when posted) will be have the alphanumeric prefix with the actual asset number?  (Ex: AA123456)
