shared pool usage

edited February 2012 in Database Tuning (MOSC) 8 commentsAnswered
I understand that there is a shared pool advisor that can advice me about different size of shared pool would do. But is there a view or a query I can run that will tell me about the usage?

I know I can run select * from x$ksmlru where ksmlrsiz >0;

But I am not comfortable to run this on a production machine. I want to know how much our memory is at and decide whether to increase or not. Version 10.2.0.3. on solaris 10.

Howdy, Stranger!
