Product Pricing Cost Method Calculations

The Bookshelf Pricing Administration Guide has a description of how the product cost methods values are calculated. Can you confirm that the cost method descriptions are for information purposes only about how the cost can be calculated externally outside of Siebel and then entered manually into Siebel?

 

In the vanilla application each price list can be associated with a cost list and a cost list has one cost method. This cost method is used to select which cost to use to populate the cost field in the price list items and then in the order line items. The standard, next , last and average costs are manually entered for each product on a cost list at the Admin Pricing>Cost Lists>Cost List Line Items view.
