Oracle Enterprise Linux updates

Does anyone know of a way to update OEL after installation so that the packages are current without the need to own a support contract?  I am wanting to set up a proof of concept environment involving Oracle RAC and several nodes with everything running on OEL, but in order to install software in OEL (or Red Hat) current packages are required and the only way I know to obtain those is with a valid support contract.  Put another way, is there any way to install Oracle database and other products on OEL before purchasing support contracts?
