Oracle Global Consolidating System versus Oracle Financial Management

Does anyone have a comparison of why/when to implement Hyperion Financial Managment over Oracle Global Consolidating? 

Ideally I am looking for some sort of high-level evaluation / comparison of the two and what are the critical factors to make the decision.  We are also in the planning phases of an R12 upgrade and not sure if one app is more beneficial over the other in preparation and implementation of the upgrade.

 I also wanted to add we currently use Hyperion Enterprise and evaluating upgrading to HFM versus utilizing GCS.
