Global Accounting Engine post upgrade

Hi All,

As Global Accounting Engine application is obsolete in R12, after upgrade from 11i to R12, Do we need to define new responsibilities with the application as Receivables for existing responsibilities defined under application as Global Accounting Engine?
Can we do this, what's the best practices for upgrading from AIX to R12.

Any inputs would be appreciated.
