Changing network configuration used during solaris 10 install
A day ago I installed the most current download of Solaris 10 and installed it on a t5220 using the installation dvd. During the installation I set temporary IP onto a temp network interface with a temp default route. I've updated the network information in the "usual" ways in that I removed the hostname.x file and replaced it with the proper files with interfaces used and used the route command with the -p option to remove the temp default route and add the needed routes.
However when I reboot the server an attempt to bring up the original interface is made. (nothing is connected to it so it fails and doesn't cause any real problem but it's annoying) The original default route is also added to the routing table. I can remove it manually but when I use the -p option I get a message that the route isn't in the "file". I'm assuming this has something to do with smf and am wondering where the information is kept and more importantly how do I remove it?
