Invoice Printing question

Hello

I am looking at the Invoice Print via the BPA. Unfortunately there isn't a migration tool, there is an enhancement request for a tool that’s been around for about 7 years. What is everyone find the best approach to migrated change from development to production. Or are you building your own report and if so how are you ensuring the printed date and flag are updated safely?
