Retained Earnings Not Rolling Properly

Has anyone experienced retained earning not rolling properly from year to year? We are on 9.3.1. and I am working in Workspace and the system is not calculating appropriately at the entity local currency level. Some entities are not rolling properly in the local currency only. PY RE earnings and current year net income do not add to PY RE for January.
