Appointments- invite conference rooms

in CRM On Demand - Web Services Integration (MOSC) Question
If all of our users have PIM Sync, how do we create an appointment in the CRM (to link to an Event) and invite/reserve a conference room.  Currently, someone has to create the appointment via CRM.  Then, go to Outlook to reserve the conf room.  Is there another add-in (like PIM Sync) specifically for conference rooms?  Should we be doing something else? -Amber
