X4540, J4500 & J4400 compatibility...

 Hello,
We currently have a SunFire X4540 running Solaris 10u6, which has a multipathed connection to a J4500 JBOD via 2 x SG-XPCIE8SAS-E-Z SAS HBAs. The zfs pool on this system is getting pretty full, but we also have two J4400 arrays which we can repurpose to provide additional storage on this system. Simple question - is this a supported combination of hardware, or would using this combination be unsupported? I see no obvious reasons why it wouldn't work....

I'm not too worried about firmware levels since the SAS HBAs were updated a couple of months ago, and we would upgrade to the latest CAM (and hence latest firmware) on the X4540 when setting this up.
