book hierarchy

I have a quetions about the books. in the user profile I would like to define the book as a default each user. But in certain objects, such as the customer object 17, it must see the data. 

for this i created a book, with full  access and have insert the user in the book. in the user profile i changed the default book an insert the new book.

but the user sees no data.
