Remove apache in Global Zone - Solaris 11

We have a Solaris 11 system in test and one of the application teams is looking to install their own version of Apache in the global zone for testing purposes. In the past this hasnt been a problem with the likes of Solaris 10 and so on but apache seems to be tied in with Solaris 11 and a number of its services etc.
When we try to remove apache, the system reports dependencies and refuses to remove apache-22
# pkg uninstall apache-22
