Solaris 10 patchsvr (LPS) - life after 119788-11 (here we go again)

Hello,
So patch 119788-11 has been released to fix patchsvr and I'm willing to make it work once more.

But it didn't work for me right from the start, that is, just by applying the patch.

I'm behind a proxy for Internet access.

Questions:

  1. Does all servers that use smpatch (both patchsvr and the rest) have to be configured with proxy in the patchpro.proxy....?

  2. I understand that for all the servers, except the patchsvr, I need to set patchpro.patch.source to something such as http://mypatchsvr:3816, right?

  3. To apply the patch, I have to stop patchsvr as described in 119788-11 README. But do I have to perform some other cleanup? (my /var/sadm/spool/patchsvr is empty)
