How can OM use the benefits of Territory Management

We have setup Sales Territories that were used when we were running Oracle Sales in 11.5.10.2.  Now that Oracle has abandoned this product is there a way to utilize the territory setups for booking sales orders to default the appropriate Salesrep in R12?
