Special and European Character

Hello,

We are in EBS 12.1.3. We have a requirement to generate a customer open balance data in Excel. We are using Excel templates to generated the data. Apart from the special characters that might be present like "&" etc, we have certain European characters stored in Customer Names like Ö and Å. The XML is failing if such characters are present. We need to know whether it is possible to escape such European characters or whether there is any generic conversion routine available for this. I think we are probably not the first to get this issue.
