This might be a dumb question

Ok. I know this might be a dumb question. One of my developer ask me to see if I can backup just a single table. For one moment, my brain went totally blank. I am like I don't really know. Now that I think of it. By doing export and import, I can export the table to a dump file and that will be my table backup right? Now, I just need to play with the new data pump utility since I always been using the traditional export/import utility. Hopefully I can find any documentation on this site. Thanks.
