Freight Carrier - Site Number Seq issue

Hi,
We are upgrading from 11.5.9 to R12.1.3 and have a requirement with Freight Carrier definition.  In 11i, the Carrier Site Details has Site Number as a mandatory field and free text, so that user can go and populate the sequence which they like whereas in R12 it is a system generated number (which means very little to us).  Can this be changed in R12?

Can, we switch off this Auto-Seq generation and go back to old 11i setup.
