Discrete Job Purging

Hi,

I am trying to purge discrete jobs using the stardard Oracle Purge Discrete Job but it is time consuming to purge using this function since we want to purge jobs since 2004.  Is there a simple way to purge by running a script or any other fast way? 

Please advise.
