How to make a message check box mandatory in Self Service page?

Hi,

Can we make MESSAGE CHECK BOX mandatory in a OA framework standard Self Service page?

If user clicks on "Submit" button and the check box is not checked, then a message is displayed to the user asking him to select the check box.
can we implement this throygh Page personalization?
