How to configure OBIEE 11g with an existing Apache install

All,
Is there any documentation for configuring an existing Apache installation with OBIEE 11g?  All installation/configuration guides that I have come across specifically deal with IIS or OHS but none for an existing Apache install.  I am particularly interested in leveraging the performance/caching strategies (page 26-27 in the pdf) however, the guide only mentions how to do this by installing IIS or OHS.

Does anyone have any references or documentation that I may look at to configure my existing Apache installation?
