Asset Detail DFFs not working

Hello,

Defined a  date DFF for Mass Additions that shows up on Prepare Mass additions screen but did not show up in Asset Work bench DFF. 

Then I set up identical DFF for Asset category  then I could see the same DFF in Asset work bench  also. Now when i click on Open Button the Asset Details screen opens and i see the same DFF and it is populated with same value next to categories  filed but won't open.

Appreciate any input.
