changing the default tablespace

I have had a problem with the default tablespace datafile and want to change all the users over to another tablespace so that I can get rid of the original tablespace. However the user xs$null cannot be altered and it has the original default tablespace which I want to drop. How can I do this? How can we change the default tablespace if we are forbidden to make any changes to the xs$null  (nobody) user account?
