SGA_TARGET IN PFILE

 Hi,
          Could some one please clarify my query.

We can set SGA_TARGET without setting SGA_MAX_SIZE in pfile in Windows environment. Like this can we able to set in other environments like Linux,Solaris,Aix and HP UX.
