Expense item with Destination Type Expense, Accrue at Period End but need to track quantity by Subin

Hi,

Is it possible in Oracle EBS to setup an Expense item (Inventory, Stockable, Transactable attribute unchecked) to have Destination Type = Expense, so that 'Accrue at Period End' can be done but customer also wants to track the item quantity by subinventory and locator. Item cost is not important. Thanks.
