Implementing Import internal requisition from MAXIMO to Oracle

We are implementing import Internal requisitions from MAXIMO to ORACLE but are getting a GL Date error. The reason is because Req Import validate if the gl date of the transacions is in the open period of the purchasing set up inventory organization (Supplier-Purchasing tab). The value we have in this default inventory organization is Item Master. We can not buy from Item Master. We implemented Oracle EBS, twelve years ago, and since that time the Item Master Inventory organization has a value of Future.  What can we do if we do not want to open and close so many
