7420 Storage Performance

Hi,
How to determine what type of disk to order for 7420? Is there a document
 or links which tell us the performance of one driver over another?

I am looking at 600GB 15K, 1TB 7.25k and 3TB SATA drives.
Is 3TB SATA available yet? Any ideas?
