Relevance of identifying address in Quote

Hi All,

Please suggest the relevance of "Identifying Address" while creating quote for a particular customer.

Actually every now and then we are facing a issue that application gives ERROR_RETURNED every time when user creates a quote for a customer in an operating unit, where the selected address is not defined as IDENTIFYING ADDRESS in that particular operating unit.

for example: i am creating a quote for XYZ NETWORKS with address: STREET1, VILLAGE2 in S1i operating unit, but applications gives error message ERROR_RETURNED upon saving the quote.

The reason of this error is that the above selected customer address is not defined as IDENTIFYING ADDRESS in S1i operating unit in Advance Receivables.
