How can I realize a few benefits of compiling an application to 64-bit instead of 32-bits?
Hello,
How can I realize a few benefits of compiling an application to 64-bit instead of 32-bits?
Beyond capacity and EOL/OEL issues, which are obvious, is there, for example, other operating system benefits that can be "uncovered"?
Or, on the other hand, does a 32-bit application runs with more overhead or less efficiently or less secure or else in the OS?
Thanks in advance,
Carlos.
