Upgrading to 11.2.01 from 9i. The DBUA is stuck at 73% for last 24 hours

Hi

This is the first trial of our upgrade.  The database is about 1.4 TB  The DBUA ran for about 20 hours since then it is stuck at 73% progress for the next 20 hours now.

NO updates on the log directory.  Pre-uprade script showed that the SYS tablespace had stale stats.  We gathered stats at 40%.  The script continued to show that stats was stale.  We proceeded with the DBUA anyway.

What do I do next.
