Defaulting Balancing segment values

Hi,I have a shared COA which is used for multiple ledgers. Each ledger corresponds to one balancing segment value.
We have a typical requirement where in when the ledger name is selected, the corresponding balance segment value has to be defaulted.
Can some please help in knowing how to do this.

Any suggestion is highly helpful.
