Delivery Grouping/Appending Limit

   Hi,
Does anyone know the values stored in APPENDING_LIMIT in Shipping Parameters? (WSH_SHIPPING_PARAMETERS). I know that N means do not APPEND, I am  trying to locate the other internal values.

Also,  the system does not allow me to change the setting and I have a need to allow appending. Has anyone researched the impact of changing this in a live system?
