Depreciation Start Date

Hi,I defined a depreciation method in the F/A system. The depreciation start date available now for my method, is the date that the asset was acquired. The computation method used is R (Remaining Periods). I was wondering if there is any option that I could use to modify the depreciation start date with the first day of next period that the asset was placed in service? I know that it is possible to change the depreciation start date on the Depreciation Information form, individually for each asset.
