Upgrade plan for SRSS valid?

I have a customer with a 3 server FOG that was running Sun VDI 3.0.  They have decided to move to VMware view and want to keep using their sunrays.  They are expanding and need to add another server for sunrays as well as upgrade from the old Sunray software that came in VDI 3 and move to 5.2.5.

Currently the servers are configured with a dedicated primary and 2 secondary servers.  I have run the utpreserve command on each of them and have the resulting files.  It was my hope to keep the old servers up and running while I implemented the new servers and simply migrate sunrays from one FOG to the other by changing DHCP settings.  So, my plan is this:
