upgrade from 11i to 12.1.3

Hi

has anyone run into a problem with the new AP Trial balance report in R12 called Open Account Balance Listing Report?  As per the Upgrade Guide Part No E 16342-04 under the Verification Task section for Financials, Accounts Paybables, Trial Balance Reconciliation, I am suppose to the  Open Account Balance Listing Report and compare it to my 11i Accounts Payable Trial Report.  It just runs for days and never completes or it captures only some invoices.  

I am not sure what dates I should enter in the new R12 report ..there is the Start date and as of date.   The 11i AP trial balance has only as of date.   Maybe that my problem.
