tuning advisor vs tkprof

Hi,Can anyone help answer the following?
1. When running tuning adviser is the resulting explain plan the actual plan that the optimizer choose?
2. Can tuning adviser be a replacement for tkprof in terms of getting the actual plan since it is easier to use?
3. If not, which is is the best way for getting the actual plan?
