Why has the Asset Type field been dropped from the Maintenance Super User Work Order screens in R12?

I have noticed that on the work order screen in Maintenance Super User, the Asset Type field has disappeared as both a column in the search results and as a searchable parameter in Advanced WO Search. In fact it also appears to have been dropped from the asset tab as well. The only places I have found it is on the Configuration History and Work Order Cost screens.

Anyone know why?
