BLOB Image in report

Hi,
I have only just stared with BI Publisher and require some help, as I am able to generate a report with data only.
However the moment I tried to generate a report which also contains a blob image which is stored in the DB I encounter errors.

I have read the B40089_06 and the B34956_01 but I am still unable to see what I may be doing incorrectly.
I was hoping that someone may point me in the right direction to view/read a simple example where a report is created which inludes a BLOB image store in the db.
