Import Multipick lists

I'm having a hard time importing multi pick list values for a Contact.  I created a CSV file with a dummy Contact record (external ID, first & last names, multi pl value).  There are about 300 lines.  I chose

External Unique ID

Don't Import Duplicate Records

Create New Record

Add New Value to Picklist

I keep receiving the error message that says: Oracle CRM On Demand was unable to import the multi-select picklist values 'Mayo' because one or more of its values did not belong to the set of available values.  You may want to update the multi-select picklist values for field 'Res'
