What 11g client solutions are there?

I'm seeing there are different client configurations possible as 11g clients and I would like to obtain an overview what the alternatives comprise all.
There is 11g Instantclient.

Then there is the client that comes with the standard or enterprise packages?

Then there are configurations that come with .NET ODAP packages with or without SQLPlus, installer or XCOPY based.

What should I use with our customers ?

I need OCI.dll and SQLPLus at least.
