ora-4031 -- increase shared pool

 Out of 40 Oracle 9.2.0.4 databases residing on a development AIX 5.3 server we recently upgraded about 30 to 10.2.0.4. Since then, we've had ORA-4031 errors in the remaining 9i databases. We've been able to rectify each by increasing the shared pool size, but we have no idea what the root cause is. We're ready to do the same upgrades on our production AIX 5.3 server and we'd like to avoid having the same 4031 issues on the 9i databases. We plan on increasing the shared pool of each. Can you offer any insight/advice?  Is this normal behaviour that is
