Turning a VTL Solution into a Standard Storage

 Hi Friends, 
first sorry If I have chosen the wrong community for this question .

I would like to investigate if an operation to turn a VTL Appliance in to a Standard storage is technically feasible . 

The environment is ?  

Sun StorageTek 6140 Array Specifications

 Model: 6140-CU-4GB/8PT

PN: 594-5065-01  with discs :  1TB 7200RPM Serial ATA (SATA)

 The current releases of software are :


Appware version: 06.60.22.10

Bootware version: 06.60.22.10

NVSRAM version: N399X-660843-003

Someone told me that it can be done by upgrade firmware version of VTL .


Is it possible ? Do you know any Support Note describing the process ?
