credit check rule - use Pre-Calculated Exposure

 Hi, 
We have existing OM and AR data already, and we would like to modify our Credit Check Rule to use the Pre-Calculated Exposure.  Would like to know if there a certain steps to perform first before changing the existing Credit Check Rule.
