Generation of junk files at regular interval

I am getting a file by name c-798721143-20120225-00 every day at 21:40 Hrs from past 3 days where 20120225 is the date 25th feb . When i try to read these files it shown file too long and some junk characters are there. These files are almost 10MB which is getting store at /oracle/oraHome/dbs directory. Can i delete these files why this is getting generated. because of these files oracle  file system is getting increased. .Please suggest. yesterday one more file is generated by name snapcf_xxx.f  where xxx is the service name of data base
