TNS:NO LISTENER

Trying to tnsping to an 11G database.

I am connecting from a server with a 10G listener  to another server with 11.02 software and listener running.

tnsping orcl

I get tns no listener.

Used TNSNAMES adapter to resolve the alias

The ORCL database resides on a server with 11.0.2 software .. This is from the lsnrctl services
