Is it possible to install R12 in Active/Pasive Cluster?

Hello,
IHAC that needs to perform an installation of R12 and we need to decided if the installation will be RAC or Active/Pasive Cluster. We have found a lot of documentation about the R12 installation with RAC but not with an Active/Pasive Cluster. Do you know that this is supported and if the anserw is yes, how can we to do this tasks?.
